This is the Edison Collier Limited Edition—and it exists because of you.

Available for Immediate Shipping

Almost a year in the making, this fountain pen based on the Collier by Edison Pen Co in Ohio features:

  • Resin by Tim Crowe of Turnt Pen Co in New York

  • An ink window, a first for the Collier and overwhelmingly requested by viewers in our survey

  • Silver trim, also the top pick by viewers in our survey

  • A #6 JoWo nib with Edison engraving

  • Individually numbered, 01 through 25

I ran a survey asking what people wanted in a fountain pen. Nearly 200 people responded and this pen represents what people overwhelmingly asked for.

It comes with a standard international converter, plus a pipette (eyedropper) and enough silicone grease to last a lifetime. Of course, it also accepts international cartridges, including longs.

This wonderful resin is by Tim Crowe of Turnt Pen Company and called "Mickey 2". It is a gorgeous, highly-variable Alumilite resin with burgundy and copper, turquoise and teal, purple and blue.

To name this edition of Collier, I used the resin for inspiration and the only thing that came close to this uncommon melange of colors was Nebula NGC 2074, or "The Seahorse Nebula".

Nebula NGC 2074 The NGC 2074 in the Large Magellanic Cloud with its signature "Seahorse" cloud. For scale, it would take a beam of light 20 years to travel from the tail of the seahorse to its head. Image courtesy of NASA.

Can you imagine my surprise when that didn't have a name either?! Apparently something this stunning doesn't need one. So this pen doesn’t have a name either.

No two pens are alike — even the predominant color(s) will be different from pen to pen. Personally, I like the surprise of seeing "my pen" for the first time, the one that fate ordained.
